Mikrotron has appointed Christian Pilzer as its managing director. Bernhard Mindermann, founder and president of Mikrotron GmbH, Unterschleißheim near Munich, commented: 'His [Pilzer's] experience will be very valuable for the company's further development and help us to keep Mikrotron fit for future challenges.'
Pilzer studied economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. His professional career began at one of the 'big four' auditing companies. Since then he has held various executive positions – most recently he spent eight years as director of finance and control at a leading manufacturer of mobile navigation systems.
