Edmund Optics (EO), a provider of optical components, has opened an office in Lyon, France and appointed Alexis Liagre as regional sales manager.
The office will serve as a hub for EO's further expansion into the growing market in France and French-speaking Europe, bringing the company's extensive product ranges and advanced technologies and services closer to existing and future customers.
Liagre, who has previously held European sales management and business development positions in the electronics and telecom industry, will be focusing on key customer relations, offering superior service to existing managed accounts and fostering new relationships and ventures in France and the French-speaking regions of Belgium, Switzerland and Luxemburg.
