Following a year in development, Firstsight Vision's new website is now live. The updated site was part of an intensive project that revised all of the Stemmer Imaging Group websites to create a common appearance and a feature set that makes the sites extremely easy to use.
The website is based around a central content database shared between all the Stemmer Group companies. This reduces the duplication of effort required to maintain the site and also allows richer content while retaining a focus on UK and Irish markets. The new site can be read in three languages and one of the major features is the advanced 'attributes' search facility, which enables users to locate products with specific characteristics.
Other enhancements include a greater number of application stories, technical white papers and published articles. The site also links directly to Firstsight Vision's order processing system, thus providing direct references to current ordering codes for each product variant.
