Basler has resolved to expand its management board. From 1 January 2014, Hardy Mehl will join the management board as CFO and COO alongside chairman of the board, Dr Dietmar Ley, and the management board members Arndt Bake and John Jennings.
In the newly created department, Finance and Operations, Mehl will be responsible for finance, controlling, SAP and IT, legal and patents, investor relations, as well as for facility management and also for production and supply-chain-management.
From the beginning of the financial year 2014, Arndt Bake will take up his new role as chief marketing officer (CMO). He will lead the strategic marketing and the product management for existing and new business fields.
As chief commercial officer (CCO), John Jennings will remain responsible for sales, market communication and the company’s subsidiaries, while CEO, Dr Dietmar Ley, will be responsible for R&D, organisational development, and human resources.
Hardy Mehl has held various management positions since joining Basler in 1999 and is currently responsible for product management and business development.
