Henrik Ilsby has been appointed senior VP for global sales and marketing at JAI, a worldwide provider of camera solutions for industrial, scientific, medical, defence, traffic, and other applications. Ilsby will be based in JAI's Copenhagen office and will drive the company's sales and marketing activities through regional sales and marketing teams in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
His prior industry involvement included not only significantly growing JAI's CCD camera business, but also serving as a board member of the Automated Imaging Association (AIA). In 2007, he left JAI to start his own business consulting company for other companies seeking to grow their market shares within the automated imaging industry.
