The keynote speakers at Automate 2011, an event held from 21-24 March 2011 in Chicago, US showcasing automation technology, include Tom Ridge, former secretary of Homeland Security, who's presentation is entitled 'Fortune favours the brave: the net gain of security in a risk-based world'. A second keynote presentation will focus on the development of Robonaut 2, the latest generation of the Robonaut astronaut helpers engineered by General Motors and NASA.
Automate 2011 is co-located with North America's leading material handling and logistics show, ProMat. Together, 35,000 pre-registered attendees are expected to attend.
