LMI Technologies has agreed a distribution and support partnership with Vision Machines, located in Eastern Massachusetts, USA. As an LMI partner, Vision Machines will provide sales and support for HexSight software throughout the United States.
Marc Landman, the principal of Vision Machines, has been working with HexSight software for more than a decade. He says: 'HexSight is a field-proven software product that provides us with the ability to successfully tackle challenging vision applications.'
HexSight is recognised in the machine vision community as providing a sophisticated locator tool for contour based object location, scale, and orientation. The latest version of HexSight also includes support for colour discrimination, using colour information to extract contours to drive detection. This becomes especially important to companies such as Vision Machines who observe a growing demand for colour-based inspection and pattern recognition capabilities.
