ProPhotonix, a designer and manufacturer of LED systems and laser modules, has appointed Luster LightTech as its exclusive distributor of machine vision illumination products in China and Hong Kong. The agreement with Luster LightTech builds on ProPhotonix's existing strong position within the machine vision marketplace in Europe and the United States.
Luster LightTech, established in June 1996, is made up of four separate business units covering both the vision and imaging, and fibre optic communication sectors. The company's product offerings include illumination and lenses, sensors and cameras, specified imaging modules, and also machine vision software. With offices around China and Hong Kong, Luster LightTech has an established presence within the machine vision sector in this area.
