Matrix Vision (Oppenweiler, Germany) has signed a distribution contract with the Chinese vision specialist Hongfu Vision Technology. Hongfu will be responsible for the distribution of Matrix Vision's complete standard product range. This includes the camera families with Gigabit Ethernet (mvBlueCougar) and USB (mvBlueFox) interface, the smart cameras (mvBlueLynx) as well as the mvImpact software tools. Furthermore, Hongfu assumes design and maintenance of the Chinese website (www.matrix-vision.cn), which begun at the end of April.
'The first joint effort at the International Machine Vision Exhibition in Shanghai made two things clear: firstly, the image processing market in China has great potential and secondly, with Hongfu we have found the right partner for this market,' says Marcus Bleise, Matrix Vision's international sales manager.
