Telops, manufacturer of high performance infrared cameras and hyperspectral imaging systems, has announced a new subsidiary in France named Telops France. The new company will move into offices in the Parisian suburb of Morangis, France, at the beginning of September 2014.
Éric Guyot, an experienced commercial and product manager in the infrared camera market, has been appointed general manager and is responsible for business development in Europe as well as the infrared camera product line. The company says this permanent presence will result in a strengthened position for Telops in France as well as in the European market. Guyot has over 20 years of experience working for companies which provide infrared imagery and spectroscopy instrumentation.
He was responsible for security and surveillance imaging products at Flir ATS where he developed a complete line of cameras for integrators and as well as a multi-sensor system for ground and maritime surveillance. ‘We are thrilled that Éric has joined the Telops team in Europe, his experience and skill set is highly complementary to our current product offering and his insights will be invaluable in successfully attaining our projected growth,’ said Jean Giroux, president and general manager of Telops.
