Specialised Imaging has recorded a 60 per cent increase in sales of its ultra high-speed cameras and systems to Asian customers over the last 12 months.
Reflecting on the strong business growth, Wai Chan, managing director, commented: 'Over the last few years we have seen a significant increase in enquiries from Asian researchers in the government and academic sectors in particular. Backed by the support and training provided by our knowledgable local distributors the Asia/Pacific region today accounts for 25 per cent of Specialised Imaging's global sales.'
The company's cameras provide data that enhances researchers understanding of a broad and growing range of applications including materials science, ballistics, fluid mechanics, combustion research, and shockwave dynamics, among others.
