The 0.5x Wide Angle Zoom Adapter from Resolve Optics has been designed to improve the quality of video conferencing images. Each production lens is individually collimated to maintain the full focus range of the prime lens. Incorporating an M37 mounting thread, the Wide Angle Zoom Adapter enables most zoom lens/camera combinations with a standard 45° field of view to achieve a 90° field of view.
The 287-000 Series Wide Angle Zoom Adapter provides a true 0.5x field of view while maintaining minimal distortion and high resolution throughout the zoom range of your camera.
This was achieved by allowing the adapter to work with the moving pupils of zoom lenses. Its design, combined with specialised high index glasses, carefully balances the provision of a low distortion wide angle view with the higher level of correction needed at the narrow angles of view. The result is a high-quality lens that provides high contrast images, regardless of the zoom position, while still maintaining both resolution and focus to the very edges of the image.
