Adaptive Vision has released version 2.4 of its Adaptive Vision Studio. The update brings a significant number of improvements and new features.
Many filters now have diagnostic outputs that make it clear how parameters affect the final results. They are no longer black boxes, but allow the user to make fully educated decisions. For example, the template matching filters now visualise not only the edges of the model, but also entire pyramids of detected features and matches.
Other new features, which were often requested, include: adding comments, exporting programs to single executable files and utilisation of the second monitor for data or HMI display. Features that will be implemented next are related to large applications: libraries of reusable macrofilters, better visualisation of the program structure and C++ code generation.
