AIA certifies Cyth Systems and Integrated Industrial Technologies

The AIA announced today that Cyth Systems, a San Diego, California USA based system integration company and Integrated Industrial Technologies, A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA based system integration company have completed the necessary requirements to become AIA Certified System Integrator (CSI) companies. AIA, the global trade association for the vision and imaging industry, grants this certification to integrators that meet specific industry criteria. Cyth Systems and Integrated Industrial Technologies (I2T) join a prestigious group of AIA CSI’s. Their certification is effective for three years.

“AIA is pleased to welcome Cyth Systems and I2T to the CSI program,” said Dana Whalls, AIA Vice President. “They have demonstrated their experience in vision system integration and can now use their certification as a third-party verification of critical qualifications to their end user customers.”

AIA’s Certified System Integrator criteria includes: years of verifiable vision system integration experience; skill level of employees (with a minimum number of advanced level Certified Vision Professionals [CVP] ); number of successful integration projects completed each year; and verifiable experience in the industries they wish to show specialization.

“Cyth Systems is so pleased to join a distinguished list of Integrators that has been recognized by the AIA as effectively serving the machine vision industry,” said Andy Long, President of Cyth Systems. “We see this as a stamp of approval from the industry, and look forward to serving this exciting, high technology, ever changing industry for years to come.”

"Integrated Industrial Technologies, Inc. is excited about achieving Certified System Integrator status with the AIA,” said Michael Joyce, Jr., Vice President of I2T. “Machine Vision has been a growing aspect of our business and strongly compliments the motion control and robotics integration capabilities of our company. We look forward to collaborating with the AIA and their continued efforts of promoting Machine Vision in various markets throughout the world.”

The advanced level program includes five days of training and a written exam. The next offering of both the basic and advanced classes and exams will be during the Automate 2015 show, March 23-27, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois USA. Then again at The Vision Show, May 3-7, 2016 in Boston, Massachusetts USA. The CVP-Basic courses and testing are offered at industry events around the world.
