Hamamatsu Photonics have launched the sub-nanosecond C7164-03 gated ICCD, which can achieve minimum gate times of 250ps with a gate repetition rate of 10kHz and a delivered frame rate output of 8Hz.
This high-sensitivity ICCD incorporates a multi-alkali photocathode for a wide spectral response from 160nm up to 850nm and is able to capture instantaneous phenomena even at low light levels. The image intensifier has 25lp/mm and is lens-coupled to a CCD with 1,024 x 1,024 pixels.
The C7164-03 is ideal for demanding applications such as fluorescence lifetime imaging systems, optical CT and laser lidar.
