Toshiba Teli has released the Clever Dragon camera (model CSCLV90BC3), which features a 20 x 20 x 20mm cube durable housing. It is an excellent platform for integrators and OEMs designing systems for high-speed machine vision parts inspection and robotics applications.
The CSCLV90BC3 can achieve 90fps at VGA (640 x 480) resolution. Programmable partial scan functionality is also incorporated, increasing the frame speed depending on the number of scan lines.
Based on the PoCL standard, the camera is compliant with the PoCL-lite (8-bit/10-bit selectable) interface. It provides a wide bandwidth (0.85Gb/s) and small connectors (14-pin). A single cable provides both camera power and signal connections. Frame grabbers from Adlink, Silicon Software, Euresys, and Bitflow, among others, are compatible with the camera.
