The ColorSens product line of Eye Vision Technology (EVT) works with the Advanced Color Match System providing fast and reliable colour inspection. The sensors can differentiate between shades that cannot be detected by the human eye. Application areas include, automation, packaging, quality control as well as the pharmaceutical and food industries. The system is suited to inspection of different shades, colour patterns or an array of colours.
EVT has simplified the software's operation and the user has only to define the place of inspection as well as the colour shade. White light LED illumination is used, which allows a stable colour analysis. The sensor lights the surface of the object with white light of a non-varying temperature. The advantage of LED illumination is its temperature stability, which is key to colour image evaluation.
The ColorSens Nano series is available with a sensor resolution of 640 x 480, 1,024 x 768 and 1,280 x 1,024 pixels.
