Dolan-Jenner Industries of Boxborough, MA has introduced the Fiber-Lite DC950H machine vision fibre optic illuminator for machine vision integrators. The DC950H features improved reliability, a higher output, almost twice that of the previous model, and RoHS compliance.
The DC950H is a 150W quartz halogen regulated illuminator featuring DC regulated output, fast lamp response, and a 0-5VDC remote intensity control interface with linear voltage adjustment (8-bit D/A module available). The illuminator can be operated remotely and offers remote notification of lamp failure to decrease downtime.
The fibre optic light is made of stackable heavy-duty steel housing with a mounting capability, and the front panel can be accessed easily for fast lamp changes. Several illumination options are available, including colour filtering, manual iris (for intensity adjustment at a constant colour temperature), and an analogue or digital remote interface. The nosepiece is compatible with all standard Dolan-Jenner fibre optic configurations. Furthermore, the product's light source has a universal voltage input of 100–240VAC, and is UL and CE certified.
