Carl Zeiss has released the Distagon T* 2.8/21 ZF lens for image processing in industrial applications. The lens provides high correction of chromatic aberration, which enables results without colour fringes even in the difficult light conditions. This is supported by the T* coating and the optimum flare suppression. The lens is suited to applications with high optical requirements and provides precise measurements with fast running processes as well as colour and structure accuracy.
The shortest distance setting of only 0.22 metres is beneficial for near-range photogrammetry or the optical measurement of components. The Distagon T* 2.8/21 ZF also offers low-distortion, sharp images from infinity up to the near range – even in difficult light conditions.
