e2v has announced that it has appointed FRAMOS, the German based provider of imaging solutions, as a distributor for its high performance Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
e2v has over 40 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and delivering high quality, high performance imaging solutions for cutting edge industrial, medical and science applications. e2v’s entire CMOS image sensor portfolio, which includes the Jade, Sapphire, Ruby and Onyx sensor families, will now be available through FRAMOS. These e2v sensors operate from the near infrared to near ultra-violet empowering optimum imaging results. Exceptional image quality can be achieved in extreme low light imaging conditions (such as fog and smoke) or in applications requiring performance and durability over extended temperature ranges, such as security/surveillance cameras.
