e2v manufactures the EliixA family of multiline cameras for multi wavelength detection. The camera family features row spacing of one line, either a near infrared or monochrome optional fourth line, and line rate up to 18kHz for a resolution of 4,096 pixels.
The camera is typically targeted to web scanning (e.g. print, wood), food or packaging inspection, document or currency processing, but its level of performance enables a wide field of applications for designers of innovative vision systems.
With an all-in-one approach, a single EliixA camera can even replace a two-line scan vision system (based on one conventional colour camera plus a NIR or monochrome camera).
All colour versions (RGB, RGB+BW, RGB+NIR) are now fully available, and the family will be shortly enriched with full monochrome models featuring higher scan rates.
