Global vision partner FRAMOS® will present its embedded vision portfolio including their Ecosystem of sensor modules and Intel® RealSense™ Technology at the Embedded Vision Summit. The industry leading event showcases computer vision innovations and will take place May 20-23rd in Santa Clara, California.
FRAMOS will update current and potential users about the latest advances in ready-to-integrate sensor modules for Embedded Vision and 3D technology, providing practical solutions to industry-specific challenges in Hall B at Booth 421. FRAMOS' new product line offers an easy modular approach to embedded vision development with sensor modules and processor adapters. Vision engineers and developers can use this modular approach and ready-to-use compositions to accelerate their time-to-market while optimizing resources. Different processors and platforms such as NVIDIA® Jetson will be on display to demonstrate the flexibility in design that is available to embedded vision engineers.
Ron Low, Head of Sales for Americas & APAC at FRAMOS, says: "At the FRAMOS booth, we will demonstrate our industry first Ecosystem of sensor modules and adapters. Along with its numerous possibilities it allows customers to quickly realize embedded vision solutions in a simple and unique way. FRAMOS supports customers from all industry verticals in using our embedded vision technologies to create innovative products, focusing on customer-specific solutions using modular designs that can be used for the initial concept right through to the finished product."
For a very easy integration of 3D technology, FRAMOS will also showcase Intel RealSense Technology with a live demonstration highlighting skeletal tracking. Control schemes either passive or active such as touchless control via eye tracking, gesture, and facial recognition enable a whole new class of products, process automation, security features, safety and industrial solutions. The availability of the very compact Intel RealSense™ 3D cameras and modules bring easy-to-integrate depth technology at affordable prices off-the-shelf.
The booth will also include a demonstration of SONY’s wide range of image sensors for Embedded Vision as well as SONY Spresense development boards. The Spresense series includes professional development boards with Sony's 6-core CXD5602 microcontroller, which can be used to develop various IoT-type applications with a short time-to-market.
FRAMOS partner, Rhonda Software, one of the primary product development companies for Ambarella® based ISPs, SoCs and SoMs, will showcase its platform options for a facilitated and accelerated development of cutting-edge vision solutions.
More than 1,200 computer vision professionals are expected to attend the three-day event, which attracts a global audience of companies bringing visual intelligence to products, both at the edge and in the cloud. The event features industry innovators, top technologists and engineers who are building “machines that see” for a wide range of industries including automotive, entertainment, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, robotics and security.
As vision pioneers, FRAMOS supports system developers with both technical expertise and services, whether it’s selecting individual components or complex system compositions for embedded vision, our engineering services help in choosing the right components, customizing solutions or developing specific solutions for embedded vision systems including intelligent algorithms for autonomous decision making by machines.
