The EMV-VGA from Illunis provides a 658 x 496 pixel (VGA), progressive-scan digital video at up to 38fps. Colour or monochrome versions provide impressive low light performance through the use of electron multiplication (EMCCD) technology. The camera incorporates a thermo-electric cooler that significantly reduces the dark current noise of the EMCCD.
Applications for the camera range from night vision, bio applications, surveillance, security, scientific imaging and microscopy.
