Eye Vision Technology has released a version of its EyeVision image processing software that supports liquid lens technology from OptoTune.
The software module fits directly into the usual sequence control, so automated focus calculations and re-adjustments are programmable.
The liquid lens has a long life and offers adjustment without time lag, because no mechanical parts have to be moved inside the lens.
The application areas include reader and recognition tasks, and measurement technology. The dynamic calibration function of the software means the system is newly calibrated directly after focusing.
