Baumer's FireWire (IEEE1394a) cameras are developed for industrial use and are based upon ultramodern CCD and CMOS technology. More than 32 matrix cameras and OEM modules, in colour and monochrome versions, are available, with progressive scan technology and resolutions from VGA up to 4 Megapixels. All models offer extensive functions such as amplification, offset and exposure time settings, together with binning and true partial scan (ROI) options to improve sensitivity or increase the frame rate. Trigger and flash is connected directly onto the camera housing, guaranteeing precise process synchronisation.
Baumer supplies its own software device driver together with the associated Software Development Kit (SDK) with the FCAM1394a model. This driver complies with the OHCI standard for Windows and Linux.
