Allied Vision Technologies has launched its Goldeye camera series, which will be available in the first quarter of 2014. Goldeye is a short-wave infrared camera (SWIR) with sensitivity between 900 and 1,700nm wavelengths.
The G-032 features an InGaAs sensor with 640 x 512 pixel resolution and frame rates of up to 100fps. Designed for industrial machine vision, it has a fanless built-in sensor cooling system, a screwed interface port and 12-pin Hirose I/O port. To help with integration into an image processing system, the camera has form factor fitting screw threads on all sides.
The Goldeye camera features a GigE Vision compliant Gigabit Ethernet interface and supports Power over Ethernet. It can be fitted with various filters and lenses with C-, F- and M42-Mounts, due to its modular housing.
