MVTec Software has released a new interface for GigE Vision for its machine vision software Halcon. The interface was tested with numerous GigE Vision cameras and is validated as GigE Vision compliant.
The new Halcon interface for GigE Vision not only provides the benefits of this Ethernet protocol, but also employs a specific filter driver under Windows for a considerably enhanced performance. Moreover, it integrates the newest version of the programming and configuration interface standard GenICam.
The Interface is available for Windows and Linux, also in each case for x64 architectures.
