Baumer has launched the HXC40 camera with global shutter. It is equipped with comprehensive functions like Sequencer, Trigger Delay and User Sets and offers an ideal solution for high-speed applications.
The camera has 2,048 x 2,048 pixels and a extremely compact housing design measuring 52 x 52 x 38mm. In full image resolution mode the CMOS sensor provides 180fps. For situations with high dynamics, the HDR mode captures images with up to 90dB. This allows perfect acquisition of images with large differences in contrast.
Furthermore, the internal memory enables an acquisition of a set of images. Thus, by delaying the data transfer a Camera Link Base interface can be used instead of the Camera Link Full interface, which is necessary to get the full frame rate in continuous mode. The Baumer-GAPI SDK provides simple integration of the cameras into the application.
