ISVI, a global leader in high-speed, high-resolution camera technology announces the IC-X25P-CXP, a 25 Megapixel CMOS camera with a CoaXPress CXP6, DIN-4 interface delivering 80fps at a resolution of 5120 x 5120 pixels. The camera is available in monochrome and color versions with 8-/10-bit switchable outputs. The IC-X25P-CXP expertly integrates ON Semiconductor’s latest generation Python25K high-speed, high-sensitivity, low-noise 25MP CMOS imaging sensor.
The all-new housing design is extremely compact and robust and uses a newly developed sensor positioning design to provide consistently precise sensor alignment. The addition of the LM-Mount allows integrators to use high-quality Leica-M and Zeiss ZM lenses with this camera, in addition to F-mount, M72, M58 and M42 lens mount choices.
Low noise electronic design and finely tuned DSNU/PRNU correction algorithms achieve an unprecedented linearity standard deviation of well under 1% over the entire bit depth. Special attention has also been paid to thermal management to minimize the effects of temperature oscillation on image consistency. User definable ROI (H&V), exposure and strobe output delay, subsampling and an easy to use FFC calibration method round out the major features of this high-performance camera.
“The new IC-X25P-CXP is the latest addition to our popular new lineup of compact CoaXPress and Camera Link cameras released over the last 12 months. These cameras showcase ISVI’s high level of design and manufacturing expertise in high-speed, high-resolution camera technology”, says Gerard White, Vice President of ISVI Corp. “With sales of its sister camera, the IC-X25S-CXP based on the OnSemi Vita25K, which became our top seller the month after its release in June, we expect the IC-X25P-CXP, with its increased dynamic range and 11% higher framerate to take over that title in due time.”
