Fourteen PoE models have been added to the IDS uEye RE range of GigE Vision cameras and now are available from Stemmer Imaging. The cameras have resolutions from WVGA to 10 megapixels are ideally equipped to handle tough ambient conditions. With a single cable for data transmission and power supply they can be integrated into small spaces.
PoE versions provide power and data transfer over a single cable, using a lockable, dust-tight, spray-resistant and water-resistant M12 circular connector. With the housing, lens barrels, and lockable connectors compliant with the requirements of IP65 and IP67 protection classes, together with optically decoupled digital inputs and outputs, these splashproof and dustproof cameras are designed for demanding industrial applications in a wide range of harsh industrial environments.
The range features a variety of the latest CMOS or CCD sensors, offering an extensive choice of resolution, frame speed and low light level sensitivities. This allows the most appropriate camera to be matched to the specific application. The PoE cameras also benefit from two general purpose I/Os, which are particularly suitable for applications in foundries, automotive production and automation engineering.
The IDS Software Suite supplied with the cameras provides plug-and-play capability with automatic detection of any camera in the system. The software is available in Windows and Linux in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
