InfraTec has released the ImageIR 8300/9300 Z thermal camera featuring a zoom lens and HD resolution. The camera is based on InSb detector technology with resolutions of 640 x 512 pixels and 1,280 x 1,024 pixels. It has frame rates of up to 100Hz (full-frame mode), which is ideal for demanding imaging, tracking and monitoring tasks.
The tailored software interface delivers outstanding clear and high-contrast image quality. The 30x motorised zoom lens (focal length range of 28mm to 850mm) achieves a human range detection beyond 15km with a field of view down to 0.6°.
ImageIR 8300/9300 Z is designed for imaging tasks such as long range border guard surveillance, harbour and costal protection, long-range tracking and monitoring, and environmental and animal monitoring.
The compact dimensions of the fully integrated camera design also allow installation into stabilised airborne platforms and ground-vehicle solutions. Further upgrades include: integrated long-range laser rangefinder for measurements beyond 10km; high-power optical zoom lenses with HD video camera; and rugged pan-tilt head for exact positioning and tracking.
