Framos now supplies Lumenera’s Lt665R 6 megapixel industrial camera. The Lt665R is Lumenera’s latest high-performance USB 3.0 CCD camera using Sony EXview HAD II sensor technology.
The combination of the ICX694 sensor with a fast USB 3.0 data interface delivers 6 megapixels at up to 27fps. The camera is available with a colour or monochrome CCD sensor in 1-inch optical format. It is ideal for applications where high speed, sensitivity and resolution are critical, for example: traffic, tolling, ophthalmology, life sciences, metrology, high-speed inspection, machine vision and NIR applications.
To provide true-to-life colour in a consistent and repeatable manner, Lumenera has designed advanced Colour Correction Matrices (CCMs) to better define and contrast colours that are difficult to reproduce including hues of oranges, reds, pinks and yellows. These advanced techniques retune the image to be true to life. The cameras feature lower noise electronics, higher-grade components, and Lumenera's thermal management technology. The end result is high quality images with extremely low noise and high dynamic range.
The camera includes 128MB of onboard memory for frame buffering, which ensures dependable and reliable image delivery even in demanding environments.
The camera measures 43 x 43 x 65mm, ensures easy integration into tight spaces with four mounting points on all four sides to withstand rugged industrial applications. The fully locking USB 3.0 cabling and digital interface provide a simple plug-and-play installation. No frame grabber is required.
Framos also now supplies Smartek Vision’s industrial GigE camera GCP1931, which has Sony’s CMOS technology with global shutter, and Emergent Vision’s HS-20000 high-speed imaging system.
The GCP1931 camera offers 2.3 megapixel resolution at a high frame rate of 50fps, high sensitivity due to the Sony Exmor technology and large pixels of 5.86µm, while the HS-20000 is capable of 32fps at 20 megapixels. The HS-20000 is ideal for industrial and medical systems where the ability to detect minute defects while maintaining a high throughput is essential. The system has a global shutter and 10GigE interface.
