Lumenera, a developer and manufacturer of high-performance digital cameras and custom imaging solutions, has released the Lw110 and Lw115 industrial colour cameras designed for applications requiring a high resolution and modestly priced imaging component.
This USB 2.0 camera series features 1,280 x 1,024 resolution and on-board processing to deliver outstanding image detail, auto white balance, auto exposure and low fixed pattern noise. The Lw110 and Lw115 offer a 1.3 Megapixel colour CMOS image sensor from Sony running at up to 60fps. As with all of Lumenera's USB offerings, these cameras include a complete SDK to quickly integrate the camera's function into OEM applications. Stable and reliable drivers allow users to run multiple cameras on a single PC or other USB devices.
Available enclosed (Lw115) or board-level (Lw110) to allow for either off-the-shelf purchasing or OEM customisation capabilities, these cameras are an ideal substitute for the Lu170/Lu175 camera series. The Lw110 and Lw115 provide the flexibility needed to satisfy a wide variety of applications requiring high resolution, good colour representation and modest cost.
