Lumenera, a manufacturer and developer of high performance digital cameras, has released its next generation Lw11057, Lw11058 and Lw11059 11 Megapixel USB 2.0 cameras.
The latest version of the series features fanless cooling, allowing the cameras to run silently while operating within a temperature range of 0-50°C. The cameras are designed specifically for industrial and scientific applications requiring large fields of view. With an 11 Megapixel sensor measuring 43.3mm diagonally, the Lw11057, Lw11058 and Lw11059 are capable of taking clear images covering a large span in a single frame. Other highlights include software controllable focus and iris with full auto modes (with Canon EF lenses), low noise, and high sensitivity, making the cameras suitable for light-challenged applications, such as traffic monitoring and flat panel inspection.
