Baumer has added the LX series to its camera portfolio. The LX series cameras feature high-resolution Cmosis sensors and Dual GigE interface. The first models will be available in June.
The cameras are the ideal solution for applications with demanding requirements. Eight, 12 and 20 megapixel resolutions are available along with the 240MB/s bandwidth of the Dual GigE interface.
Eight and 12 megapixel models use the Cmosis 5.5µm pixel design. Besides ultra-high resolution, the 20 megapixel model has a 6.4µm pixel structure, extremely low noise of only 8e-, and a high dynamic range of 66dB. Such excellent image quality allows for more precise and reliable image evaluation. All models ensure outstanding sensitivity for reliable image acquisition even in fast-moving processes.
Compared to single GigE cameras, the 240MB/s bandwidth provides twice the frame rate or half the transmission time, which will significantly speed up inspection times. The LX series offers high dynamic range, Power over Ethernet, multi-IO, and modular lens mount. The cameras are suitable for demanding applications, such as PCB and semiconductor inspection.
