Matrox Imaging has launched Matrox Concord, a family of interface cards that are pre-licensed for use with the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) and pre-configured to minimise application setup time.
Connection to GigE Vision or IEEE 1394 IIDC devices is straightforward. The single-port Matrox Concord GigE is factory-configured to maximise the size of jumbo packets, manage interrupt moderation and receive descriptors for optimal GigE Vision performance. Matrox Concord 1394 features three IEEE-1394a/b adapter ports and a 1394a/b bilingual copper connection.
Both cards support 64-bit conventional PCI and x1 PCI Express host interfaces. They are also pre-licensed for the MIL IEEE 1394 IIDC and GigE Vision drivers, so a supplemental license is not required. Furthermore, both cards can be used to obtain and store the license for additional MIL functionality.
Software support is available for 32-bit Microsoft Windows XP and consists of MIL/ActiveMIL or MIL-Lite/ActiveMIL-Lite development toolkits for creating custom applications.
