Aicon has released the MI.Probe Mini, developed for measurements with the StereoScan, a Breuckmann 3D scanner. The probe is used to detect hidden geometries and bores on a gearbox housing, for instance, that otherwise could only be reached by changing the set-up several times.
The MI.Probe Mini is a handheld, 15cm long device that identifies geometric details and passes the data on to the analysis software. It is automatically identified by the cameras and has exchangeable probe tips to suit different measuring tasks.
The MI.Probe Mini is available as either a package with StereoScan or as a supplement for an already existing scanner.
