Moritex has introduced new additions to its ML-N macro lens range. Designed to provide a high performance alternative to CCTV lenses, the compact lenses combine low cost, choice of magnification (0.1x - 1.0x) and long working distance (70 - 350mm) to enhance moving part inspection applications using cameras with up to half-inch sensors.
The non-telecentric optical system for the ML-N series provides high resolution and low TV distortion. The number of lenses in each ML-N lens system is limited to less than three, thereby ensuring high performance at a reasonable price.
The magnification and working distances of ML-N lenses can be tailored for specific needs through the use of an optional close-up adapter. Typical applications benefiting from the expanded ML-N macro lens range include product labelling inspection for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries and shape recognition applications, such as circuit board inspection.
