The new Motionblitz CVR (Compact Versatile Recording) system from Mikrotron offers a solution to situations that require high-speed recording cameras with small dimensions that can provide extremely detailed high resolution images.
The system is divided that consists of a compact camera head and a recording system that is connected to the camera by a 20m long cable. This combination allows the EoSens 4CXP camera with its minimal dimensions (80 x 80 x 53 mm, C mount) and the RAID recorder to be used in industrial and research environments to produce precise event analyses.
Video sequences of up to 12 seconds can be recorded at 560fps at a resolution of 2,336 x 1,728 pixels directly into the recorder’s RAM and the data is downloaded into the system’s RAID drive meaning the recorder is ready for use again in less than four minutes.
As a system component, the EoSens CXP camera offers many application advantages. At reduced resolution in full HD format 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, rates of 900fps can be achieved. The reduction of resolution permits up to 35,000 frames per second. In addition, there are the advantages of high light sensitivity in monochrome of 3,200 ASA and 2,400 ASA with RGB.
