Schott and Moritex have launched a new dome lighting product series, the latest addition to the MG-Wave series.
The MSDC series was developed to meet the requirements of the food, chemical and pharmaceutical packaging industries as well as increasingly demanding electronic component inspection applications. The high-power LED triples the brightness of dome lighting compared to the companies’ conventional dome illumination MDML series, while ensuring a high standard of uniform diffused lighting without reflected glare of LED.
The product is well-suited for lighting objects with curved and/or glossy surfaces. There are two different diameter types: 156mm and 400mm in four colours. The 400mm type can be efficiently used for a large 300mm wafer inspection, for instance.
