A new series of surface mount infrared reflective sensors produced by TT Optek and distributed by Pacer offers an extremely fast response time and high sensitivity.
The OPB609 series is suited for the detection of diffused materials with a faster response time on phototransistor outputs. The devices, available from Pacer International, have a thin and compact design. The products are very reliable and feature a long product life expectancy.
Industrial applications for the sensors include: assembly line automation, machine automation, microcomputer control equipment, machine safety, end of travel sensor, door sensor, edge detection, jam and mark detection.
