MultiPix Imaging has launched three high-quality Picolo capture and H.264 compression cards from Euresys. The Picolo U4 H.264, the Picolo U8 H.264 and the Picolo U16 H.264 feature 4, 8, and 16 video input channels respectively, along with audio capability.
These cards deliver several output streams per video input: an H.264 compressed stream for high-quality recording on hard disks and an uncompressed stream for immediate display of the camera signal and for the application of real-time video analytics. Output streams are completely independent allowing for simple integration. These PCI Express cards are equipped with 4, 8 or 16 high-quality audio inputs as well as 8, 16 or 32 I/O lines.
Supplied with simple and convenient Windows DirectShow and Linux drivers, the cards are easy to use and can be immediately integrated into any DVR or CCTV application design. Cables with BNC-video-connectors are available for immediate evaluation of the cards.
