Moritex, a manufacturer of illumination systems and lenses for machine vision applications, has developed its Prelude LED lighting range to combine affordability, reliability, performance and ease of integration with machine vision systems.
Prelude lighting is driven by a constant voltage (24V), which provides the lowest cost and least-prone-to-failure method for driving and monitoring LEDs from a system perspective. Standard sizing, screw-in connectors and a constant 24V DC drive ensure simple integration into machine vision systems. The LEDs undergo inspection for lighting power (intensity), uniformity, temperature, and aging characteristics. Fully RoHs compliant and available in three colours (red, blue and white), the lighting systems are supplied as standard in ring, bar, flat and square configurations.
