Basler has expanded its Scout series with four new camera models based on Sony's high sensitivity ICX445 CCD sensor. Customers can choose from 11 CCD and one CMOS imaging sensor in both monochrome and colour. In the Scout series, Basler offers more than 50 high-quality camera models with up to 2 Megapixels and a choice of GigE or FireWire interface.
Basler is also enhancing its mid-range Pilot camera series by adding 90° housing versions for all models as well as a new sensor front end. This addition employs the Sony ICX625 CCD sensor and expands the maximum resolution of the Pilot series to 5 Megapixels. The cameras feature a fully GigE Vision compliant Gigabit Ethernet interface.
All Scout and Pilot cameras are offered in monochrome and colour, as a standard housing or a 90° housing version, and with a small industrial footprint of 29 x 44 x 73.7mm.
