Basler has introduced its new Scout camera family, which is equipped with assorted CMOS image sensors. The first one in the family will be the Micron MT9V022 sensor offering wide VGA resolution and 60fps. The camera features FireWire-b or Gigabit Ethernet interface that allows cable lengths of up to 100m. The camera has a global shutter for accurate imaging results even in demanding vision applications. The camera is ideal for analogue camera users to convert to digital cameras.
