Cedip Infrared Systems has provided new components for its Silver IR cameras with long-life batteries and integrated screen options. The new add-on video screen allows users of Silver IR cameras to set-up and align experiments even when the camera is remote from the computer. In conjunction with the new portable long-life battery pack, this offers users a complete solution for making thermal measurement remote from a PC and electrical power source.
The Silver IR camera series includes a suite of multipurpose high-sensitivity IR cameras for industry, research and medical applications. All Silver cameras are based upon Cedip’s 3-5µm focal plane array detector that provides a fast frame rate, high sensitivity and excellent linearity.
Applications that will benefit from the new options include stress measurement of outdoor structures, non-destructive testing and portable IR experiments where direct access to a PC or electrical power source is difficult.
