Dalsa has expanded its Spyder3 camera family to 4K resolution. The higher resolution offers a larger field of view (FOV) and reduces system costs, as fewer cameras are needed for a vision system. The Spyder3 product family uses Dalsa's dual line scan sensor technology which provides good response, ease of use, and cost-effective solutions for many applications. The camera is well-suited for film, glass, 100 per cent print and web inspection, as well as other general machine vision applications.
Key features include: high resolution (4096 x 2 pixel resolution with 10 x 10µm pixel size); high throughput (80 Megapixels per second throughput, 18kHz line rate); and Camera Link interface.
