SVS-Vistek has expanded its SVCam camera line with an 11 Megapixel model (svs11002-12) with 12-bit data format and Camera Link interface. The progressive scan camera provides a resolution of 4008 x 2672 pixels using a Kodak Interline Transfer CCD sensor, the diagonal of which is 43.3mm corresponding to the small picture format of a standard camera.
The camera provides 6.3fps, although higher frame rates can be achieved in the partial scan mode with a reduced number of lines. Binning with 2 x 2 pixels is also possible.
System integration and configuration is via SVS-Vistek's software tool ConvenientCam, which can be used to adjust parameters and operational modes such as gain, offset, exposure time, 'free running', and 'triggered'.
A range of lenses can be connected via the M58-thread or an F-Mount adaptor. It is housed in a compact case measuring 65 x 67 x 45mm and is available in monochrome or colour versions.
The svs11002-12 is suitable for such applications as print layout control, PCB inspection, or high-end metrology, among others.
