SVS-Vistek's monochrome 5-Megapixel camera svs625 is now available with a GigE Vision interface, meaning frame grabber boards are no longer necessary to transfer image data.
The svs625 is a progressive scan camera with a high resolution of 2448 x 2048 pixel on a 2/3-inch sensor. It has a frame rate of 15fps. In partial scan mode images with a fewer number of lines can be read out at a considerably higher speed. Binning with 1 x 2, 2 x 1 and 2 x 2 pixels is also possible.
SVS-Vistek's camera configuration software allows adjusting of the most important camera parameters such as gain, offset or exposure time. Variable operation modes like 'free-running' or 'triggered' allow the user to customise the camera for specific applications.
The optical interface is C-Mount. Because of its small size of only 51 x 55 x 73mm the camera can easily be used for applications with a limited amount of space, such as print inspection, PCB inspection and high-end metrology.
