Smart Vision Lights has introduced its new patent-pending T-Slot LED light series featuring diffusing optics. The new series provides a cost- and energy-saving replacement for fluorescent lighting and is compatible with most popular brands of 0.32-inch, 8mm, and 10mm aluminium extrusions, including extrusions from 80/20, Bosch, and Item.
Smart Vision Lights’ redesigned low-voltage 24V DC T-Slot LED light bars slide into aluminium extrusions with no extra mounting of additional lighting needed. They are ideal for use in applications with limited distance or tight area challenges, as well as for illuminating robotic work cells by embedding in gating. The IP-50 rated lights are available in lengths up to 1,800mm.
The company has also announced its new LE Series of sealed lights. The lights feature rugged IP65-rated housing, strobe and constant operation capability, and the convenience of aluminum extrusion T-slot mounting. The housings with internal driver are sealed to provide drip-proof/splash-proof protection, and the aluminium design provides maximum heat dissipation and ventilation to allow for pressure equalisation.
The LE Series of lights can operate in both constant on with 1-10V analogue control and/or overdrive. The lights are available in 300mm, 600mm, 900mm, and 1,200mm lengths and come with T-slot mounting hardware. The series will be available in wavelengths ranging from UV to IR.
